MinGW Getting Started

From cygwin shell, do:

mkdir -p /c/cygwin/mingw-w64/
cd /c/cygwin/mingw-w64/
wget -nv "http://switch.dl.sourceforge.net/project/mingw-w64/Toolchains%20targetting%20Win64/Personal%20Builds/sezero_20101003/mingw-w64-bin_x86_64-mingw_20101003_sezero.zip"
unzip mingw-w64-bin_x86_64-mingw_20101003_sezero.zip
cd /c/cygwin/mingw-w64/mingw64/bin/
cp gmake.exe mingw32-make.exe
exit

Then open the MinGW shell “rxvt-x MinGW64 BuildEnv” and set environment:

env-lmb
# env-lmb.sh: LMBSOFTSRC is 'D:\Data\emmenlau\XuvTools\trunk'
# env-lmb.sh: QTDIR is 'D:\Data\emmenlau\lmbsoft\win-x64-mingw4.4.5\thirdparty\Qt'
cd "$LMBSOFTSRC/thirdparty"
tar -xf "qt-mingw-w64-qt.tar"
cd "$LMBSOFTSRC/thirdparty/qt-mingw-w64-qt"
git checkout "4.7"
cd "$LMBSOFTSRC/thirdparty"
rm -fr "$LMBSOFTSRC/thirdparty/qt-mingw-w64-qt-tmp"
cp -r "$LMBSOFTSRC/thirdparty/qt-mingw-w64-qt" "$LMBSOFTSRC/thirdparty/qt-mingw-w64-qt-tmp"
cd "$LMBSOFTSRC/thirdparty/qt-mingw-w64-qt-tmp"
cmd /C configure -platform win32-g++ -qt-zlib -qt-libpng -no-libtiff -no-libjpeg -no-gif -no-libmng
gmake.exe -j8
